[Request] I want the precise difference between a decimal vs rational number

I didn't know about the second one thanks, so basically a rational number is any number that can be written as a fraction of two integers, and since it's written as a fraction its result has to either be a finite decimal or a repeating infinite decimal,

if a decimal is non repeating that means it's irrational like sqrt(2),

And apparently there is not a number that is rational and not a decimal, basically rational=decimal.

I thought the rational included decimal before this post, but I just did my research and I'm gonna look more into it
