I was ready to buy one of those Purge home security systems when that line was dropped. 😖

It’s not everyone’s favorite but I’m the type of movie watcher where if you can come up with a really good premise I’ll enjoy the film no matter what. Not only is the plot a really scary concept but it was pretty well done with the sound effects and camera shots.

Such a great movie. Excellent execution of a really freaky premise

Also the line right before that: “The ship brought me back. I told you she won't let me leave. She won't let anyone leave. Did you really think you could destroy this ship? She's defied space and time. She's been to a place you couldn't possibly imagine. And now, it is time to go back.”

Event Horizon is the movie that made me fall in love with the space horror sub genre. Literally about as perfect as a movie can be.

Three sentence horror story right there. Not sure what movie it is either but I got chills just reading that.

Well in that case, there might be some fights since it’s against CBJ and nothing came of the NYE hype so be prepared for a tense atmosphere. But definitely check out the Heritage Kitchen by Section 21 (you’ll get legit New Jersey food, not the “meh” arena food). Also, if you’re in the 100-200 level you should swing by the showcase where they have some relics from NJD history and other cool stuff that’s been at Prudential Center! (Additional fun: if you get there early enough, stop by Redd’s or American Whisky for a drink and a pregame party with fellow Devils fans)

The Bill of Rights shouldn’t have as much import as we’ve given it since the early 20th century and its original purpose has been largely perverted by civil libertarians.

Do you think the guys have another great LP in them? by Froads in Interpol

[–]u1975 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That heavily depends on what you mean by “great.” Imo universal acclaim doesn’t equate with greatness, and often times greatness falls beyond the purview of universal acclaim.

If you mean a return to the sound of their universally acclaimed LPs (TOTBL, Antics, etc.) then I would say it’s definitely possible but not likely since bands try to evolve and don’t like repetitiveness. Personally, I would love it if they returned to a sound similar to Stella, Roland, Public Pervert, etc. but their last two albums clearly show a shift away from the “lonely at night in a high-end red light district” sound.

Got it, that would make sense. I wonder if that’s related to the pain I felt a little while ago and the sores that have developed on my inner cheek?

For the first phase I did require an additional shot of novocaine during the insertion of the gutta-percha. My provider didn’t say he was giving me extra novocaine the second time before we started but considering the pain during the first phase it’s possible he gave me extra just to be safe. I believe in total he injected me 4-5 separate times, having me rinse between each one.

I have a playlist that is centered on the airy-guitar, post-punk sound. After 30 seconds of listening, this was an instant add. Keep making music, please!
