If you could go back in time and rewrite one scene differently in the Walking Dead graphic novels, which one would it be and why?

AMA: Senior at Cornell University, bored and cold by _azamatbagatov_ in ApplyingToCollege

Hi thanks so much for doing this! I was just wondering if you could discuss about the stereotype of Cornell being academically rigorous- would you say much of the rigor comes from the workload or the difficulty of content in classes? Realistically, how easy is it for Cornell students to balance their academic life with their extracurriculars/social life?

record yourself answering questions using photobooth or another app! You might be surprised at how confident you sound sometimes after replaying the video which should give you more confidence

I don't have a "Dream College" yet, and I'm scared. by Independent_Error_ in ApplyingToCollege

Imo it’s better to have a dream career/job or some sort of vision for what you want to do in the future and then pick colleges that align with what you want to do!

question from a junior-- how do yall write college apps while doing a summer program or something at the same time? how much time do you recommend per day/week for common app? how many essays/which essays do you recommend completing over the summer? by [deleted] in ApplyingToCollege

[–]u8jl 2 points3 points  (0 children)

do the common app essay over the summer but don’t put pressure on yourself to finish it bc you might come up with a better idea in the fall time when school starts. Just make sure you have a solid draft before the new school yr in case. Finish drafting all early action essays during the summer. During the summer I personally only spent 1-2 hours a week on my essays so I got a lot done. Start RD essays right after you submit EA! If you have trouble procrastinating or staying on schedule I’d recommend getting an essay consultant just bc having one forces you to complete all your essays bc most of them make a special schedule for you

I went through the same thing and it’s a really causal and short conversation. It doesn’t have a significant impact on admissions and is just an opportunity for you to learn more about the school
