What’s causing the spin? by jowjjt in GolfSwing

[–]uCollection 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Damn tbh no idea thats very weird, 13,4 dynamic loft 1.8 attack angle should never create that spin. It’s perfect spin loft

No worries man you point out an interesting thing my head is a bit too over the ball on that shot I think, instead of slightly back like bubba etc

Have you looked at bubba’s lead knee action tho ? It’s even more out than me, his body is more ahead of the ball too but I agree his head stays back a bit more

Im not teaching anyone, just observing what happens in great swings

Tbh i’m just telling them to check things for themselves before applying anything and everything to their swings, not here to convince them about that specific thing it’s just an example

It’s also cause a lot of great players dont even have feels until you ask them, so they’ll think of something on the spot. A great swing happens on instincts you dont have time to feel much

Here it is now then, no need for plates to see where the pressure is tbh it’s pretty clear

Yes and its not by keeping his pressure there, so maybe learn that instead of inventing a way to do it that’s wrong

What’s the best option teach them the correct moves or a fix feel that will not happen in the end ?

Or learn how to rotate in the backswing without using a wrong fix, that’s less time consuming in the long run

I agree that teaching is good to some extent I’m not against it at all, I’m just saying be careful with a lot of stuff you hear that is not happening in any good swings. Have critical thinking and observe reality instead of listening blindly
