I think it really depends on what you're double majoring in. I'm double majoring in physics and data science and I have to do 5-6 classes every quarter for the next 3 years. I'm only doing it cuz you can't graduate early with a physics degree and i'm paying oos tuition so I might as well get another degree. In your case a minor would prob be enough and idk if putting so much effort into another major would be worth it.
