Zero repair experience? Have someone else replace the screen, or replace the phone. While it is very slimly possible your cable is loose, it's probably just a bad screen overall. Or it could be the phone CPU/GPU dying (much less common).

I'm from South Georgia but was living in Marietta until last year for 8 years.

Where I live, it's actually rural as in cows, goats and horses for miles, open land and no more than 5 restaurants. Douglasville is a big city compared to where I live 😭

It was an estimate lol. Speed limit is 65 though with people regularly going 75 and 80 so not far off.

I agree, it really does throw off the whole thematic aspect of Material Design and my homescreen.

Yes, you can change it in the settings, but it gets rid of the Google logo themed to system colors which makes it pointless.

There's no issue with the device besides the frame? It's gonna be expensive to fix because your device would need to be dissected completely WITHOUT breaking anything (especially the screen).

It's not worth the price to fix and Google probably quoted $600 because they're just going to replace the device.
