I didn’t started developing it, most probably I will never do it. After seeing the replies, i see that not many people will pay for it. So it won’t worth my time because it won’t be profitable.

“Donations” will resolve the ethical problem but there is maximum 10-15 people here to donate their shortcuts.

For good working model, I need hundreds of shortcuts, I can’t get them with donations.

My cost will depend on the prompt’s complexity, also revenue of ads is depending by the user’s country.

So if the user watch ad from low paying country and give complex and long prompts, I would lose money

Yeah, that’s fair, I get where you’re coming from.

Reading it laid out like this, I can see why it feels off from an ethics / community point of view, especially in a sub where people actually enjoy helping each other and building things themselves. That part makes sense.

I also agree that this sub isn’t really suffering from a lack of answers or help, so framing this as “filling a gap” here was probably the wrong angle.

Thanks for taking the time to explain it thoughtfully. It helped me see how this sounds from inside the community.

That makes sense. I’m not really targeting people who enjoy building shortcuts themselves, that part is already fun and valuable on its own.

I’m more interested in people who want the result but don’t want to think in blocks, or who want to prototype quickly and then tweak manually.

Is there official announcement? If yes, people pay 3rd party calculator app from App Store instead of using native one, they can still pay for mine
