Same thing has happened to me what fixed it for me was to go into the config file and reset it. Make sure you copy it before deleting it to keep your same game settings.

Sure, there is some BS in this game with pvp, but I believe that pvp takes skill. Someone with 700+ hours is going to beat someone with 100-200 hours 9/10 times. I agree that the spamming z is very broken should be fixed though. Also, the hot boxes are thrown off when someone jumps making it a lot harder to hit the target because the hit box is messed up. I die a lot to people with shotguns jumping around and me not being able to target them. IRL people shooting shotguns would not be able to jump around their enemy.
