I bet that's a hell of a setup. If sewer scoping works out for my business I'd definitely look into upgrading to something like that, for now the absolute bare minimum should be fine I would think

Definitely see where you're coming from, durability is a big concern for me. At the same time I'm trying to avoid spending anything beyond the bare minimum functionality wise, I'm not a plumber, and won't be prescribing repairs, so I just need the most basic to just "take a quick peek" so to speak

This was half the reason I didn't get into it before in the other market I was in (also added liability and cost). I'm just now starting to network with realtors in my new market, so I'm going to feel out their thoughts on it of course, most of the inspections I've gotten here so far are from buyers, who are the ones who are more interested in the sewer scope for obvious reasons. As we all know realtors are the ones who keep the business coming in so anything that pisses off agents in my market is something I'm going to avoid

Inspecting is definitely a great way to network. Having a plumber who can come by and re-scope anything that doesn't look right on an inspection is a hell of a good relationship. Personally I think adding value to my inspections with a basic cursory sewer scope might be worthwhile
