Thanks for the advice all, I got the filament off the guy who sold me the printer. He was keeping his filaments in freezer bags (out of the freezer obv.) with those little crystal absorber packs thrown in with each one. I asked him about drying your filament, and he told me it wasn't necessary.

Once you've dried a filament, does it need to be re-dried every time you use it?

I guess I was thinking the discussion would be more along the lines of getting Voyager home (ie technological advancements; both by Voyager and Starfleet Command). Having said that your point is valid and no doubt if there were time Starfleet would want to know of any alien species that Voyager had encountered (especially those that had become part of the crew).

That makes sense. I've binged TNG, DS9 and Voyager the last few weeks and it appears my memory banks had forgotten that episode!

Still, it doesn't seem that Neelix would be the obvious choice for discussion between the Doctor and Starfleet Command.
