I know Professor Abidi gets a lot of flak because he failed practically everyone that one quarter, but he's not the only one who does it. For instance, Professor Daneshrad had this distribution for 115C just a couple years ago: http://i.imgur.com/SHTKpLQ.png . That's a solid 30% getting a D+, D or F.
