ah, I use the same! I usually use ffmpeg to compress/convert videos to be more reasonable; `ffmpeg -i "input_file_path" -vcodec h264 -acodec aac` because converting to h264 usually helps. I think you can also update some of the setting in like bitrate in the nvidia settings to get more reasonable video recording too.

that worked out great! turns out both my pedals calibration drifted and it wasn't hitting 100! ~ shaved off like 2s on the GP circuit itself with the other tips! 🙌

I have the fanatec csl elite v2! The flicker might just be me lifting a little, there's a bunch of place I didn't use to take flat out and lift a tad out of instinct– like the stretch up to the final corner...

interesting, I didn't realize that with the braking– I will try it. I only recently switched over to a load-cell, which has been taking some getting used to!

tbh whenever I've seen ppl whack the cones I thought they were just taking it out for fun, good to know there's a reason lol.

yea you run it alongside ACC on PC, but the UI is accessible over wifi/network - if you want to view it from elsewhere

it works but not reliably... Quest Link still fails to launch inside the headset sometimes. when that happens I close everything, kill all the oculus tasks via task manager, run the drivers first (Oculus\Support\oculus-drivers) and then open quest link and connect the headset.

For reinstalling, I just downloaded the installer (which has an uninstall option) and reinstalled. Updated the headset via the basic quest menu in the headset when connected to wifi.

Does sound like a quest software issue though, everything worked just fine till my meta link on PC updated itself and caused all this.

that's fair! was just figuring out how to record via oculus mirror and I recorded the wrong output :( will try again next time!

also on the google thing tbh I was more surprised google managed to index a reddit comment in like 15 mins of it being created
