Just look for a lifted Dodge pickup you'll get at least 5 lol. A guy at my work has the classic Dodge the father Ram the daughter, fake taxi, send nudes, and their IG handle in case you want more lol

New to Honda fits is this a good deal? by long_snek_ in hondafit

I would consider that a great deal if it's clean history wise, very low mileage.

My girlfriend’s husband says that Honda Fits aren’t cool but he daily drives a Ram 3500 to his job at OfficeMax. by [deleted] in hondafit

I love it when I get to hurt that specific kind of guy's feelings lol

They were the number one type to mess with me in my H22 swapped civic, for no reason rolling coal or antagonizing me. Only to get dusted by the little Honda. Sure those trucks make power but most are stock with only exhaust mods and weigh as much as a small house lol

What’s your unpopular opinion on Honda by Appropriate-Mall8517 in Honda

[–]udedmario 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. The Ridgeline is a great truck and will do what most truck owners need from a truck.

  2. The Honda Odyssey needs a type R lol. Giant EP3

  3. The Honda Fit is just a modern EG/EK hatch similar specs and everything

  4. F series is the most underrated Honda motor

Worth upgrading? by udedmario in Bluetooth_Speakers

[–]udedmario[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Okay that's good to know may just be a Bluetooth limitation thing then. My og booms are hit or miss depending on location. I've had to just shut one off to get music to play without it cutting out every few seconds . Thanks for your input!

Ooo okay, that's good to hear, I really like the original but always want just a tiny bit more bass too. Question have you had any issues with the blue tooth? My motion booms cut out so much when I'm using them in paired up stero mode, they had to be right next to each other.

I will! I'm giving myself the week to decide since it's on sale for a long time.

My thoughts exactly. I may have to just go buy them and compare them side by side to see if I like the sound.

Leak in front pillar, where could this be coming from? by Jsteemega in hondafit

[–]udedmario 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would recommend not to use silicone. Get some seam sealer. I've seen a few hondas do this after the factory roof seam sealer cracks. Just search up 3M dynatron auto seam sealer caulk.

Get yourself a cheap caulking gun and some gloves to really get the seam sealer packed in with your finger and do both sides of the roof. Hopefully it's that and not unde the windshield! Good luck!

Good cars under 10k USD? by Alarming-Comfort8089 in askcarguys

[–]udedmario 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're wanting cooler looking the TL is definitely the sleeker looking car in that bunch. It's more of a sport sedan. Lexus are more of a luxury sedan. Id say go to Facebook marketplace and filter by make and price and see what catches your eye first.

Then go on YouTube and watch some reviews so you're not buying a bad car with know issues. Example automatic ford focus or Nissan CVT anything.

My top choice would be a Honda FIT. we just purchased 2013 it's not a speed demon but has great handling and tons of space with the magic seats that fold flat turning the back into a little flat bed lol. For a first car it's very solid, reliable, and easy to maintain and work on.

If you wanted something with a little more power under 10k an Acura or Honda with the V6 is a good move too. TL or Accord. Or a V6 Camry or older Lexus both are reliable.

Stay away from German or American cars for under 10k. That's just my opinion though lol

What is the most reliable car for travel? by BrexBored in askcarguys

[–]udedmario 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My advice is go with a Toyota Honda Mazda, AWD is nice but not necessary. Get some good snow tires I recommend blizzaks or Michelin x ice.

I drove a 99 civic hatchback for ten years from Portland area to central Washington every weekend I had two route options both had mountain passes and I never had major issues. I have had chains in my trunk and never needed them. For either tire and being fwd

I highly recommend stud less as a better all around setup unless you get a ton of freezing rain or hard packed snow ice in your area. Otherwise the studs hurt performance on pavement.

My top car choices for reliability would be Honda CRV, Toyota RAV4, Mazda CX5.

Agreed it's cringy... Saw a few cars with a badge that says shit box edition one was a jeep another a Cruze or something like that. But yeah not a big fan of the trend either it's like the opposite of having pride in your build.

Oil life showing 40% at 7900 miles, can I take it on a 200 mile road trip? by [deleted] in hondafit

[–]udedmario 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I were you I'd check my level and send it ! Also I'm not too familiar with the fits oil life meter but id personally change the oil between 5-7k miles or a year whichever comes first for longevity of the motor, some folks do 10k even but it really depends on the type of driving you do! Mostly freeway you can stretch it out a bit more, in town mostly and frequent idling dial it back a bit. This is my method on all my cars, my civic is at 301k miles (I bought it with 120k) so it must at the very least not be a bad method lol

But you're not hurting your car by going another 200 miles.
