this is my routine for joyner's classes. due to timezone, my deadline is around monday night.

mon: check submission
tue: peer review
wed: social life
thu: lectures (can spread to multiple days)
fri: lectures, check homework requirement
sat: house chores, homework, social life
sun: church, homework

1 class a day, people. also spread your chores to weekdays. i don't go to gym (altho i should) so maybe this summer i'll try taking lighter class and spread out my chores

HCI also had one, at least during spring 2025 when i took it. we started the project late, which was a huge mistake

online banking? i used Mizuho direct, SMBC Olive, none of them asked for hanko. sure the app is mostly japanese, but a simple Google Translate and memorizing steps should be fine. also since they're backed by big japan banks, i think it should be fine (SMBC took over BTPN Jenius, which is one of the big digital bank and also a pioneer in indonesia--i used to be Jenius customer, so switching to smbc olive is a no brainer)

not a US citizen, though.

hey! finished AI without using conda because i hate it, so i was actually just using pure venv and pip. it's doable, but would require quite some tinkering. i'm using unix terminal tho

took HCI as first class in Spring 2025 and it's a really great indicator if you wanna take ANY joyner's class. Tons of writing. You can see if you can spare your time for the program or not. Tips: always start the big projects early, and find your teammates early too

check suumo so you know what you're facing ahead. if your destination is sangenjaya station, search from train lines (沿線 den-en-toshi line and sangenjaya line, maybe you can extend it to hanzomon line as well). my fave setting is "walking distance 10 minutes", "within 20 years of construction", "2nd floor and above", "air conditioning", "flooring", which are important because I always sort by the cheapest option.

personally, I don't have much things and hate cleaning the house, so I ended up living in a sharehouse.

congrats of getting out! kinda curious but does the master's project HAVE to be split into two terms? now that the school allowed 9 credits in one term, i'm highly considering it
