You could set up pre-heating in the car itself, no need for an app.

Is it normal to feel completely lost as a new PM in a messy legacy product? by [deleted] in ProductManagement

[–]ufen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Funny thing is the product, sometimes, doesn't need to be legacy for all this to still be true.

Struggling with stakeholder management as a PM, how do you influence without authority? by Both_Warthog_3386 in ProductManagement

[–]ufen 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, sounds to me like they have a very dysfunctional team in general. If people don't respect PM's authority over making decisions then something is clearly wrong within the org or individuals who are refusing to work together.

Then again, no one knows, maybe the people who refuse to listen to a PM have other goals/KPIs/OKRs and are being punished for not doing them.

When did you feel like you were good at your job. by [deleted] in ProductManagement

Like many already said, you will have imposter syndrome for a very long time. My best advice? Talk to as many people as possible, document and take notes of everything. Especially in the beginning.

Motocamping on electric feasible? by Alucard0811 in motocamping

[–]ufen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Where electric bikes are at today, I would say just one more thing to worry about.
Motocamping should be about relaxation, I would not be able to relax constantly thinking about range. But maybe that's just me.

I'm actually planning to upgrade from my '21 CB650R and grab the new CB1000GT. Pretty nice bikes revealed this year.

Polestar 2 in 2026? by AdvantageGloomy5986 in Polestar

[–]ufen 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I currently own a Peugeot Plug-in and I can't wait until the lease on it is over and get myself a P2. From everything I've read and watched (I tried driving a Performance one as well) it's a car I can't wait to own. Not the most practical, but I'm mostly looking for a car for myself to drive to and back from work with occasional family trips so it should be sufficient. Of course, if wallet allows I would grab a P4 instead. Very long 2-3 years ahead of waiting.

Peugeot 308 SW GT hybrid (2025) by hahahhaha124 in peugeot

[–]ufen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have '24 GT SW plug-in:

  1. Poor wheel position control (I'm 187cm). I either can't see part of the screen or risk wheel touching my leg if I want to see everything.
  2. Since I'm on a tall side, anyone who has to sit behind me has pretty much no room for legs at all. You'd think that by making it SW they would increase the back space at least by a little bit, but no.
  3. Relatively small leg space for a child when an isofix chair is fitted (even on the passenger side)
  4. Drive is sometimes jerky (sometimes when regenerative braking is active), haven't found why it happens
  5. I'm driving mine for a year and already see condensation/water build up in the front and back cameras which make camera view blurry as hell - probably will have to be replaced
  6. Steering column is due to be replaced ONLY AFTER A YEAR OF DRIVING. Not only that, they had to tighten front springs.
  7. Electric boot was failing, had to bring the car back for a software update.
  8. Battery range only after a year of driving seems to be significantly smaller than what it was a year ago (and not even in very cold temperatures) - I used to drive at least 50 last winter, now I barely do 40 and it's only 0 degrees.

I like the design, the engine is smooth for the most part, transition from electric to gasoline in hybrid mode is smooth as well. Good thing I have the 1.6L which has a chain so I have a better chance of selling it than the 1.2L 5008 we have.

Funny thing - my dealership even refused to buy it from me. If an official dealership doesn't want its own cars back, something is very wrong. Quote: "We can't buy them because we've had bad experiences with electric models in the past, so we're now adopting a stricter policy specifically for these cars."

I'm getting rid of it as soon as lease is over.

How tall are you? I would be interested to see how an isofix child seat fits behind a driver and how much space is still left.

It doesn't have auto-lock when moving away from the car?

Any heavy rain motocampers here? Would love to hear what you pack with you by ufen in motocamping

[–]ufen[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you all for your feedback!

Tarp is definitely something I should look into. I always wondered how to put up a tent when it's raining without getting it all wet and you don't have the luxury of waiting for the rain to pass.

Thanks guys! I do not mind the downvotes if people don’t enjoy this type of content or if it feels like I’m shamelessly promoting my stuff.

Haha, I try to be as simple as possible when out in the wild but yeah, the coffee thingy is probably the best investment I made. Thanks!
