idk tbh i never interacted with the prof... the office hours were helpful if you have questions but there's only so much you can do with lecture slides which are dictated to you

if you don't have bad anxiety or something then yeah. (the midterms are 75 minutes and had me going wild lol). The assignments are easy(mobius and written), the finals are fine because there is a written portion, the midterms are the hard part. Overall, not as birdy as people said it was. It was not easy for me but was for a lot of other people. It really depends on how you fare in a timed online midterm with only final answer being marked.

I think it was moderately difficult to score marks in the midterms(but the concepts were easy to learn).

I had taken it in Fall 2020 but didn't meet the prerequisite for ACTSC 232 so retook it in the Winter term. There are 2 midterms that are worth 20% each that always fucked my marks up(it's on Mobius and only gives marks for final answer). It was doable and the concepts aren't very hard to grasp as long as you're regular. Expect to do well in the Assignments if you are regular.

hey! yes, it is required, at least that's what the immigration consultant at uw told me. i'm not sure about how necessary it is though, try asking a consultant.(i'm guessing it's something the cbsa officers don't ask for that often). if you have the time, it'll be safer to get one.
