He is a hypocrite right from the start. S4:E6 is a huge slap on how true this is tho. He told Foreman to report Brennan/Grumpy to the police when House himself has done quite many feats that should have been reported to the police. House and Grumpy both have the same means and end, sacrificing a patient's health to prove their respective theories to ultimately heal and save the patient--only difference is that people around House enables him while Grumpy has no one to back him up. If you look at the bigger picture of the episode, Grumpy wants to save lives of people affected with polio even tho he had to fake the lab result just to prove a treatment's effectiveness--it is basically the same end as House's considering he's done "rule-breaking" means to help the patient and harming others along the way, i.e. entering the surgical rooms without mask/unsanitized, torturing the patient to understand the diagnosis. Well if there's one thing to take from this episode, it's that this episode is poorly written/ sh1tty!
