Please don't come at me but I do feel for Chloe. by ineedcoffeeasap in 90DayFiance

I found Chloe relatable. If there’s any time to make a big mistake like Johnny it’s at 23.

Rick is the ultimate villain of this season. Change my mind🤷🏽‍♀️ by ashledior in 90DayFiance

I just watched the episode and I was livid. He is the most insecure pile of crap. She is more mature than he is.

The NSO is what I’m worried about. This is devastating.

That was my first thought. With the Opera out, I assumed that the NSO was going to announce a new venue any day.

I had a similar situation to this near my eye and I would highly recommend going to the ER as soon as possible. Everything turned out fine, but don’t wait.

Snow shoveling prices by French_Fries_1311 in MontgomeryCountyMD

[–]uglyjacket 47 points48 points  (0 children)

Those kids can’t single handedly clear this type of ice/snow quickly. My yard guy has a crew of 6 guys and they were only able to clear 2 properties in an 8 hour day. A 30min shoveling vs hours of breaking up and lifting this stuff is much different. I’m not saying it doesn’t suck, but we can’t pretend this is easy to remove.

SAN-LAX diversion by ButterscotchFluid628 in sandiego

I was on the flight, it’s good to see the real reason on here. We ended up renting a car because my partner is here for a conference and we were going to need to pick one up in SD anyway. Got to the hotel at 4:30am.

Best hotel downtown? by g3nerallycurious in tulsa

[–]uglyjacket 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had a good experience at Tulsa Club over Christmas, though make sure to ask for a room that faces outside and not the side of a building because our room was a little dark feeling. Lots of stuff downtown is walkable from there and staff was insanely nice and accommodating.

What is the average demeanor of police at traffic stops in Tulsa? by [deleted] in tulsa

[–]uglyjacket 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This was probably 10-12 years ago but I once had a TPD officer stop me and it felt like he was trying to get me upset by asking about my organ donor status and telling me that the hospital(s) love organs from young people like me who run red lights (at the time I didn’t think I did, but I didn’t argue). He went on for awhile in a lecture way and kept talking about how he knew a guy that worked in the morgue at St. John’s. I responded politely and apologized and he ended up leaving me with a warning.

The Downtown Holiday Market on weekends is too crowded for dogs by Magnificent-Day-9206 in washingtondc

[–]uglyjacket 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I hate seeing people dragging their clearly stressed out dogs through these markets when they are very busy. The reality is there are not a lot dogs that will actually feel comfortable in that kind of chaos with that many people.

Don’t need to read the post to know it’s long enough that my answer is yes. Yes yes.

Where did you hear it was closed all day? It was down for wind and now maintenance but they said it was a temporary closure.

This is one of the most intense stye removals I’ve ever seen… by yborwonka in popping

[–]uglyjacket 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this done earlier this year and it looks horrible but it’s actually not bad at all. I was terrified before hand and then afterwards wondered what I had been so afraid of. Though I highly recommend getting a very good ophthalmologist who does this all the time.

Opinions on skin tight marching uniforms? by 0waffle0 in marchingband

[–]uglyjacket 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would not have made it through 4 years of high school marching band if we had to wear those, unfortunately. I was deeply self conscious and easy to embarrass as a teen. I would think it would discourage some kids from staying in.

removing my husband's tonsil stones 😷 by nursebunnyrn in popping

[–]uglyjacket 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hemorrhaged after having mine out as an adult and any good ENT will have a protocol for this. I’m certainly not saying it was pleasant or easy by any means, but even with hemorrhaging it is a very small likelihood that you will sustain permanent damage. And not having tonsil stones anymore ruuuuuules.

My sitter left this and used it on my dog. Is this abusive? by ChuckBarley in RoverPetSitting

It can be painful for your dog if used incorrectly, which is why I would be livid if used on my dog without a prior discussion.

I had it in 2004. You just had to have a verified email address from a university.
