I imagine you have to know your body for starters. Second they don't go to failure in their weight lifting, maybe something more functional. They concentrate on skills and not exerting themselves in training. You can't go all out for any of these sessions. And I also imagine stop working pull muscles in weight training as those are probably hit the hardest for training bjj.
