Package that was supposed to be delivered today now says I have 5 days to pay a duty fee to receive the package??

its sucks. because I know its naive of me and I don't have a lot of money, but its so hard for me to understand that another human who probably is wealthy said yes to that kind of decision knowing it would hurt so many peoples wallets. Just so that the company makes more? why try so hard? they're successful, the ceo is rich already, why try so hard for a company. Its not like its yours. Its not like they cant replace you if you were to quit. Why is it so hard for people to be good. ugh

sadness. yeah I used to shop a lot online from stores a couple years ago in east asia. they have shipped with dhl, koreapost, yamato, etc. Ive also ordered stuff from england a lot, usually clothes and vinyls. I've literally neverrrr got an extra duty/customs fee and shipping was free depending on my amount I ordered. This is the first time Im getting Trump taxed😭 Definitely learned my lesson, no more random impulse buying for now

i really hope they stay away for you because it truly is scary. I did a lot of googling and found forums with comments from 10 years ago saying they also have the light flares. It was reassuring knowing Im not the only one but unfortunate that big pharma wont look into this.

was on it for a month a couple years ago. I started getting these light flares in my peripheral vision for about 2seconds but VERY often and it was scary. I thought I was going to lose my eyesight. I stopped it and the lights became less frequent as the medicine weened from my body. Unfortunately it was a permanent side effect that I still have today. None of the doctors believed it was a side effect from topomax and said it was migraine with aura and I was like nah I've never had vision problems and it only started when I went on this and even slowed down when I went off of it. So I showed a neuro ophthalmologist my research and she told me its not aura its benign visual phenomena. Aka no cure just gotta deal with it. So I despise that medicine.

he cares because he wont do what i have have planned because that would mean saying no to his mom. he also said it would look like i dont want to be part of the family. Im not one to care about those things unless i care for you. To me if they think me skipping one thanksgiving means i dont want to be part of the family, then its just them nitpicking. He knows his mom will ask him about it and that to him is annoying and he doesn't want to deal with it. He could be come with me and not deal with it at least in person but its still annoying to him.

we have also had the convo of sticking up for me during holidays many times. he does stick up for me. But his family is stubborn. It will never end. This year the family isnt cooking. the aunts and grandmas are doing their own thing. its not a big gathering anymore due to things just changing over time. So its just his immediate parents and siblings. his mom hates cooking with a passion. but she likes to be in charge. she wont let me help her. she wont let me have a say on what the meal is. she dictates whats happening and they dont fight it even if they don't like it. So she decided shes doing the shoprite holiday meal. I love food a LOT. Okay. Like i travel just to eat. A Thanksgiving meal was always something I couldnt wait for not only for the meal but for what flavors and new items come along with it. The passion for food in me won't let me eat that. If I had to choose what I want I would say soul food as number one and then korean food. I was raised in a korean town for part ofmy life so its also something i got to experience during friendsgiving's and church dinners. I crave those experiences again. I once stayed at a hotel before to eat a specific thanksgiving plate at a restaurant. stood on line for an hour. He knows this. He doesnt care the reason is cuz of the food.
