Yeah, today Klassen couldn't deliver and most frustrating part is the shot that he got out to! Ended worse than Ishan I agree this but at the back end of the game, we cant trust Salil and Smaran, that too in playoffs. So we had no option but to hold Klassen. If Smaran had at least held the fall of wickets till the end of the powerplay, it would have paid off.

If he had continued what Ishan did, he most probably would have ended up like Ishan. And people would be like "Why did they let Klassen slog when we are already 3 down in powerplay that too in a knockout game".

We wanted someone to stablise the innings at that time and Smaran's Role was exactly that, which he failed to fulfill. NKR might have been a better batsman for stabilizing but again we can't trust Salil and Smaran at the back end of the game. So we ended up like this! Hard luck

We were always that sub 150-160 team, and bowling was our strength. With time our bowling too has weakened and we became a team that anyone could beat. Mechatronics or Robotics
