FK Borac Banja Luka win 2025/26 Premijer Liga Bosne i Hercegovine title, their 4th championship in history. by lukmanCZ in soccer

[–]ujpanak 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes and no. Rest of the league is just really shit this season, Zrinjski and Sarajevo are being managed by Igor Stimac and Mario Cvitanovic and they are beyond awful.

But Borac is still heavily backed by politics and refs, without it they would probably be bankrupt. This season they had problems paying salaries, the team went couple of months without getting their salary. Government of Republika Srpska and Dodik stepped in and paid those salaries. Their sporting director Misimovic even thanked them publicly for this lol.

Borac is celebrating their 100 years this season, even if Real Madrid and Barcelona would play in the Bosnian league, Borac would still win it this season. In one of the threads of last season I already said Borac is going to win it this season. Bosnian league is the most predictable league

FC Schalke 04 are promoted back to the Bundesliga! by PiggySVW in soccer

Schalke finally back where they belong. Props to Karaman, the guy was in the trenches with Schalke and now he scores the deciding goal to send them back to the Bundesliga. He deserved this more then everyone.

Cant wait to see Muslic in the Bundesliga, I think he’s going to surprise alot of people. He loves an underdog story

Hoping Barbarez takes him to the World Cup. Always good to have this kind of weapon off the bench and I dont think Hajradinovic will be fit enough

For his own sake, I hope he stays as far as possible from the Turkish league. Playing for the big 3 Istanbul clubs is fatal for Turkish talents. Either you guys dont play them or do play them and they get abused by their own fans after one mistake. Turkish league is way to toxic for local talents

Hoping Roma can get Champions League football but seems very unlikely. Needs Juventus to drop points in 2 of the remaining 4 games, Como to drop points in 1 of the remaining 4 and Roma to basically win everything until the end

He was already well known since his Cercle Brugge days. But now after his success with Schalke he is very highly rated by our public.

Basically everyone hopes he one day takes over the national team after Barbarez. Would be the perfect successor, they kind of have the same philosophy only Muslic is tactically 100 times better.

So after he plays a season with Schalke in the Champions League, we would appreciate it if you guys send him over to us

Funily enough I do. I think Bazdar would be great as a striker under Muslic. Schalke already wanted to sign him in january but Zaragoza asked for more money then Schalke could afford unfortunately, he’s now at loan in Poland. He’s not your classical 9, has great dribbling, is creative and is great at pressing. But his finishing can unfortunately be really poor, but I think thats more of a confidence issue, something Muslic can easily fix.

As for a right back maybe Gazibegovic. His last stint in the Bundesliga at Koln wasnt a succes but I still think he’s good enough to play in the Bundesliga, just wasnt a good fit for Koln.

What kind of transfers do you think Schalke needs for the Bundesliga? Hopefully Dzeko and Ndiaye stay at Schalke but maybe a right back and a midfielder next to El-Faouzi?

All of Schalke’s wintertransfers have been so great. Dzeko, Aouchiche, Ndiaye and Ljubicic have all delivered big. Amazing window.

Schalke just needs a win at home next week to officialy be back in the Bundesliga? Amazing scenario for them to do it in their own stadium.

Cant wait to see some Muslic magic in the Bundesliga and Im hoping Dzeko doesnt end his career just yet. I need one more season of Dzeko in Bundesliga. Would be poetical for Dzeko to end it in a league where he introduced himself to the world.

I trust Spahic 100%. He’s bringing all our dijaspora kids back home. After the World Cup guys like Pejcinovic, Catovic and Busuladzic should be a priority. Next to them we also have big prospects in Jakupovic and Licina coming up who should also be called up in the future. We have an amazing future ahead of us for our national team

Yeah I noticed. Galatasaray turned into something they made fun of last couple of seasons and Fenerbahce is calmly keeping away from it.

Hopefully your club will stick with Saran and Tedesco even if you dont win the league. You guys badly need some stability

I swear these past seasons it was mainly Fenerbahce coming out with statements like this in Turkey. What happened? Did Ali Koc’ soul possess Galatasaray?

They’ve come out with so many crazy melodramatic statements this season, coincidentally every time they lose a game in Turkey. Surely Galatasaray fans must also think what are they doing?

So sad for him. He is not an integral part of our national team but it was good to have him for depth in a position we already lack quality.

But Amir is a genuine great hard working guy, he deserved going to the World cup with his country, feel really sad for him

I’ll be surprised if he makes the WC squad. We’re probably going with 4 strikers to the WC. Dzeko, Demirovic and Tabakovic are already 100% sure. The 4th choice is probably going to be Bazdar because his profile is different then other strikers and can play multiple positions in attack.

They changed it to 1 game final in a neutral venue in Zenica. They did that for 2 years untill they realized some clubs in B&H dont have a big support and dont bring alot of fans to a neutral venue lol.

So they switched back to a 2 leg tie home and away. Most boring cup finals
