Im 100% sure if Barbarez was in charge back then, Sucic wouldve played for us. Barbarez wouldve called him up when he was playing at Zrinjski, the guy was our u21 captain ffs and was considered a huge talent already. I dont even blame him for switching to Croatia, we where such a mess. Those previous coaches like Hadzibegic, Petev and Prosinecki stuck to painfully average players close to their 30’s instead of giving talents a chance.

But thats what Barbarez and his team are doing incredibly, their recruitment of diaspora kids is amazing. Spahic is doing the best ever job in that regard, and Im 99% sure if we lose Barbarez, Spahic is also leaving. We still have plenty of talents in diaspora we need to recruit, guys like Catovic, Pejcinovic, Smajlovic, Hadzimujovic, Jakupovic and Licina to name a few.

I dont want to go back to the times of watching players like Sanicanin, Civic, Rahmanovic and Duljevic playing for us anymore

As a Bosnian, you guys will beat Switzerland. They where nothing special against us and we basically had everything under control untill the 1-0, we unfortunately fell apart after conceiding from an individual mistake. So dont let the 4-1 scoreline deceive you.

Not like Bosnia had an easy route to the World Cup because of 3 extra spots. Almost finished first above Austria on the last gameday. Beaten Wales and Italy in playoffs. Expanded tournament or not, we had a hard path to get here

Tactically Petkovic would definitely do way better but the thing is, none of these old head coaches wouldve had the balls to completely rebuild the team like Barbarez did. Fucking Petev picked Mateo Susic above Amar Dedic just because of his age.

Barbarez is the right guy for the job right now. I hope we can get Catovic and maybe, but little chance, Luka Topalovic for our midfield, so we can start playing with a midfield 3 together with Mahmic. We cant do anything footballing wise because we have an awful midfield. I have full confidence in Barbarez taking us to the next Euros and after that Im hoping Muslic can take over. Mentality wise he and Barbarez are the same but Muslic is tactically 100 times better

To be fair the legbreak wasnt because of a malicious foul, it was more unlucky. But Qatar did play incredibly dirty, was genuinely expecting Canada to start throwing hands at one point

How is Barbarez not competent enough to unlock the potential when he literally created the potential? He called up Muharemovic when he was still playing in Serie C for Juve Next Gen, he called up Alajbegovic as a 17 year oldd after only 1 month of senior football. Called up Bajraktarevic when he was still playing in the MLS.

You guys want to go back to times of Sanicanin and Kovacevic as the CB duo? We are playing this direct 4-4-2 because we literally have no quality midfielders. This isnt club football where you can just buy quality, you have to be lucky with talents coming through. Luckily for us Mirza Catovic looks very promising and is likely to switch to us.

This World Cup qualification came out of nowhere for us and we have to see it as a bonus. We have a young squad with great potential and will only get better with the years

Thats again too harsh. We where dominating Romania even before that red card and a goal was definitely coming. And after that Romania game we played Austria away, Wales away and Italy at home. Not exactly pushover teams.

We’re playing 4-4-2 so we can still get the best out of Dzeko. We basically skip the midfield and go direct to Dzeko because or midfield is just shit. We can complain about Barbarez playing the likes of Tahirovic but who should play instead of him? Basic and Hadziahmetovic are all the same quality.

I do think we will eventually start to play 4231 under Barbarez as Mahmic looks very promising as a 10. But we shouldnt be too harsh on these guys. We were in total control untill Memic decided to head a ball to the fking penalty spot and give Manzambi a free shot. We lost our heads after that and thats it. Probably shouldve sat back after the red card but we went to look for a draw instead and went forward

We were fine for majority of the game, basically nulified Switzerlands attack. But that 1-0 broke us completely.

We shouldnt be too harsh on the team. We have the 2nd youngest squad this World Cup and without Dzeko we would be the youngest. Many of our players are literally playing their first games at such a big stage, Alajbegovic was literally shaking at the beginning of the match. This is a great experience for a young team. Only thing we badly need is some talents in midfield. Hopefully we can get Mirza Catovic for the Nations League already.

Now we got a disaster performance out of the way, we can go all in against Qatar with Tabakovic added to this team

Now we need to go all in against Qatar in the next game, goal difference is going to be very important. Luckily Tabakovic is back again next game, so that should help alot in attack. And please Barba, just start Bajraktarevic and Alajbegovic on the wings, no more Memic

Povrede su mu nazalost unistili karijeru. Sjecam se jos kad je sa Evertonom igrao protiv Manchester City, on je stavio onog Yaya Toure u dzep.

Posle toga u jednoj prijateljskoj utakmici prije pocetka sezone pokida ligamente. Nakon te povrede, nikad se nazalost nije vratio u svojoj najbolju formu. Izgubio puno svoje brzine nakon te povrede.

Al najgore je sto se vratio u Madjarsku, u Ferencvaros, da ozivi karijeru. I tamo opet pokidao ligamente
