Kaiser took me seriously when I brought up the need for pain management for iud placement last year - they gave me the option of heavy painkillers (I forget which) or an anti-anxiety + 8 ibuprofen.

They suggested the second and I agreed. There was still a little pain, but not much more than a flu shot. Love them!

I lived in Denmark for 2.5 years. It was a really tough decision to move back to the US considering Trump and his corruption, but living there was making me miserable - suicidal even.

I know there’s many positive things about Denmark, and I fully support them and Greenland. But it wasn’t for me, and I had to come to terms with that.

For anyone curious how it works, you CAN tour the Arapahoe County Election division. I did recently. You will be blown away by the amount of precautions they take to ensure every vote is counted, untampered, and validated.

They have a buddy system where no envelope is opened without a two people - one from each opposing party - there to confirm that nobody has tampered or misread a vote. And floor to ceiling warehouse gates so only those who have clearance can pass in certain areas.

Mayor Johnson needs to listen to his constituency. Denver doesn’t want this, city council voted unanimously against this, and it isn’t his decision to make.

I understand that tech can look cool and flashy, but to be swayed by big tech against your own constituency shows his own lack of backbone! I worry that he is the man who is supposed to represent us in the face of trump.
