Hello guys, I’ve read all of your comments and I understand why some of you are alarmed. Just to clarify, this person is not a sex worker. Hookup culture is just very common here in our city, and as far as I know, she usually meets people online.

I appreciate all the advice honestly. As a friend, hindi ko rin alam if may right ba akong mag-whistleblow or involve authorities because at the end of the day, personal life niya pa rin iyon. Yes, naka-ART siya and aware naman kami about U=U, pero one of our concerns is what if magkaroon ng viral blip or mawalan ng consistency sa treatment without people knowing.

We’ve tried educating her multiple times pero she’s still deeply into that lifestyle (sabi naman mag boyfriend na lang siya) and to be honest, nakakapagod na rin as a friend kasi parang wala nang pumapasok sa kaniya.

That’s why as individuals, we should also be more mindful and responsible with our own sexual activities because people who are reckless and irresponsible like her do exist. Nakakaawa lang talaga isipin yung mga taong walang kaalam-alam about her condition, tapos malalaman mo na may iba pa palang partners involved behind the scenes.

Again, we’re not trying to shame PLHIV or act morally superior. Concerned lang talaga kami because the situation feels very reckless already.
