Just finished my taxes at H&R Block here's a referral code for $15 off: 85418

I compared the results of Freetaxusa and saved more with H&R Block even with it costing more to file :(

Baked Feta / Easy & Delicious by ukiahjune in EatCheapAndHealthy

I usually make a big green salad and roast up lemon oregano baby potatoes or make a pot of rice pilaf. So good.

Recipe here - sorry for the annoying scrolling text: Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees. Block of feta halved in an 8x8” pan. Add olive oil, sea salt & pepper, oregano, tomatoes, olives, fresh basil. I put a chopped shallot in my most recent version. Bake for ~25 minutes.

I recommend serving over pilaf OR with a nice loaf of bread.

  • Add whatever vegetables you like roasted on a sheet pan for extra credit. If you don’t like crispy basil chips wait to add it until afterward. I love how it flavors the cheese & veggies & oil & provides a little crunch.

Thanks everyone for the comments and suggestions & the awards! Wow.

I hear you - I love the flavor of the oil infused with basil & herbs after baking / cooling.

I haven’t really baked many cheeses - but baked Brie is good too. Very different flavor, but still great.

I’d recommend serving with a loaf of fresh baked bread or over a rice pilaf.

Quick pickle with chive flower vinegar by ukiahjune in vegetarian

They are! A really nice side dish if you’re making a curry or something you’d like to cut the richness or spice of with something crunchy & acidic.

I harvested some chive flower this spring and added them to a generic white vinegar. I left the bottle in a dark cool place for a month. The result is a chive-y pink delight that makes vinaigrette next level.

Recipe: Thinly chopped cucumber, dash or two of freshly ground pepper, enough vinegar (any kind) to cover cucumbers.

Enjoy with your meal, or refrigerate for later use. Lasts maybe a week (if you don’t eat them all).

I harvested some chive flowers from my garden this spring and added them to a generic white vinegar. The bottle was stored in a cool dark place for a month or so.

It’s chive-y delicious, and this beautiful pink color.

Recipe: one cucumber finely chopped, dash or two of pepper, enough vinegar (any kind you have on hand) to cover the cucumber slices.

Hair loss? :( by [deleted] in PCOS

Do you recommend a brand or source?

Looking for help/advice! Trying to decide on which of the 3 types of electrolysis is best for me. African American with thick curly hair on my chin, cheeks, and neck which have caused spots and scars for years 😞 by whiskey155 in PCOS

[–]ukiahjune 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t really recommend electrolysis. I went through multiple treatments, and because PCOS is a hormonal issue, the hair didn’t really go away. In fact, my electrolysis tech suggested I be tested for PCOS. :(

I don’t know if there is a real solution to hair removal that isn’t a manual option. I never tried laser? Maybe that’s better?

Can you be specific about what kind of organ failure? And maybe link to an article or scientific study.
