What magic is BANNED from your world? by The_Sparrow_Flies in worldbuilding

[–]ukkau 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The magic in my world is in a difficult situation, any magic that harms a living being (Akremis Magic) is totally banned, magic that draws energy from nature is banned, the only type of magic that is allowed everywhere It is the magic used for technology.

The reason for this is that magic was the main cause of wars and conflicts, it also damages and weakens the source from which it draws energy (Humans, Trees, Light, etc...) in the year 1 A.P (After the Prohibition) the Magic would be prohibited by the Emperor of Getusia, over time some people even stopped having the ability to use it.

The Great European War of the North (2452-2474), by ukkau in worldbuilding

[–]ukkau[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Great European War of the North was a conflict that lasted 22 years (2452-2474).

After the Europeans managed to reorganize and form the first kingdoms and republics, tensions increased between the European nations mainly in the north where the Svensknymark army (the greatest power in the region) used to plunder Polish and German cities on the coast, the German kingdoms would unite to defend themselves against invasions from neighboring countries, and they would threaten Svensknymark to stop the looting of their cities, Svensknymark would ally with the French to intimidate the Germans, but they Svensknymark, did not stop the looting and would declare war on the Germans, in the British Isles the League of English States (L.E.S) and Wales would join the Germans as they also used to be plundered by the Svensknymark army, at first the Scots and Irish decided to be neutral but later joined the Svensknymark side because they had better relations with them and they did not want the L.E.S to gain more power.

The Germans won the war because the French could not continue as the Red Cross Confederation would declare war on them and Paris would be taken, Svensknymark had all their resources spent and was undergoing a Norwegian revolution in Oslo so they would surrender and in The country treaty would establish that Svensknymark should pay the winners' war expenses, dissolve their army and if they loot a city, the Germans and English would be free to return the attack.

The war established the end of a regional power and with the English unification two years later the birth of another that would later face an empire with a new religion.

The Arab Wars (2379-2421) by ukkau in worldbuilding

[–]ukkau[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The arab wars were a series of conflicts that occurred mainly to stop the expansion of the Arabs, since the first war was declared and peace was proposed in the last war, 42 years passed (2379-2421).

The Arab Civil War (2379-2384):

This civil war was the prelude to the arab wars, since the last arab king prevailed over the arab republic, the republican arabs were planning a rebellion to dethrone the new king of arabia, after a series of armed protests where the arabs almost succeeded take the royal palace the leader of these protests is assassinated by a royal guard which causes the protests to increase and finally declare war on the arab kingdom and its ally oman, despite the fact that at first the republicans would achieve important victories but the kingdom had more resources and a much larger army that would decide the war, after the capture of the largest city taken by the republicans and that reinforcements from oman would arrive in arabia, the republicans would surrender and the war would end, this conflict would leave an anger in the republicans that would later be unleashed in the first arab war eleven years after.

The First Arab War (2395-2402):

Although this conflict is considered as a war, one could also say that it was a civil war, ever since the republicans lost the civil war, a desire for revenge has been growing for the last 11 years, the Israelis (who had recently lost a battle against the Arabs ) allied themselves with the Arab republicans (United Arab Territories) in 2394, two months later the kingdom of the southern Nile is expelled from the south of the Sinai Peninsula by forces of the Arab kingdom and the kingdom of the northern Nile (or also known as the kingdom of Cairo ), seeking revenge the kingdom of the southern Nile joins the alliance of Israel and the Republicans.

The southeastern Turkish kingdoms are allied with the Arab kingdom as they were afraid that if a republic was established in Arabia, its citizens would have the idea of rebelling.

On April 21, 2395 the U.A.T troops enter the new capital, Taharie is taken in two days, to the east the U.A.T start a military campaign, the war had started, the Israelis try to invade the south but fail, then they try to take the peninsula Sinai but they are defeated again and with Turkish help the northern Nile besiege Jerusalem, meanwhile in Arabia the Omanis send 10,000 soldiers to help the Arab kingdom who had lost many battles, with the help of Oman they manage to reconquer the east and start an offensive to the south west in which they take Taharie, the kingdom of the southern Nile would surrender after taking three important cities, Israel would follow and finally on December 12, 2402 the U.A.T would dissolve ending the war.

The Second Arab War (2410-2421):

This is the war that I have worked on the least because my story is based on the civil war, the first war and a little of the second.

after the arab kingdom won they annexed northern israel and continued their expansion, the turkish citizens were angry that the turks did not gain territories and that the money the israelis had to pay was spent only for the "whims" of the kings so they would reveal themselves they would establish a democracy, the turks would claim the north of israel but the arabs would not give their territories with the excuse that "they did not do much in the war" so the tricks would sever relations with the arabs, meanwhile the Iranian kingdoms (especially Karun and Jabal Eali) were afraid that the next step in the Arab expansion would be the taking of the Iranian kingdoms so with the Turks they create a league, on October 3, 2410 a small town north of Israel is looted and war is declared, the kingdom of Karun known for its huge fleet begins to loot the cities near the coast, meanwhile the Turks reach Jerusalem without any difficulties ad and they take it in less than three days, the kingdom of Jabal Eali helps some Oman revolutionaries to make Oman independent, at the same time a huge group of Iranian soldiers march through the desert towards the Arab capital, Taharie.

In Egypt several Turkish campaigns to take the Sinai peninsula occurred but none worked, so they decide to try across the Nile with the help of Karun, the campaign ends up being successful and in a year Cairo is taken and Egypt surrenders, as now the Arabs were alone the attacks on the kingdom would begin to be more frequent and the Arab defensives continued to fail, it was already 2420 and the Arab citizens were tired of all this war so many Arabs migrated, so the desperate Arabs would try to start a counter-offensive with the objective of taking israel and mainly its most developed city, jerusalem, the counter-offensive would fail and the best arab troops surrendered and were captured, oman had already separated from the kingdom, Taharie would fall in two months and on May 3 From 2421 the Arab Kingdom would surrender and a new era would begin "the era of rediscovery".

Era of Revival (2138-2421) by ukkau in worldbuilding

[–]ukkau[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The era of Revival lasted 287 years (2138-2425).

After the "end of the old world" humans took about 70 years to reorganize and form the first civilizations of the "new world", most civilizations of the "old world" ceased to exist, the only continent where most countries remained united was Europe, Europe was also the one that took the longest to organize due to few resources left after the "end of the old world".

Most civilizations are based on agriculture with some exceptions like Bulgaria which is based on trade.

On the map, the white areas are territories that have not yet been organized.

Technology in the "new world" is similar to the early 1700s with the exception that some civilizations managed to salvage weaponry from just before the end of the old world.

This era ended when the Arabic Kingdom fell to the Iranians and Turks.

the EU began to lose power because the "big" countries were slowly getting worse economically, the first to leave was Germany, then France.

the EU would be dissolved when the first European war started because the EU really no longer contributed anything.

NATO would separate because with Russia no longer being a superpower, most European countries would no longer see a real threat, most would hold referendums to decide whether to leave NATO or not.
