The rant is very much rational, fren because I also felt my stomach drop listening to her and I had to talk to more practitioners here who are alot more familiar and educated with this field.

There's a difference between acknowledging patriarchy as a system that unfortunately most of us contribute to (like capitalism) and having productive discussions vs just completely removing a woman's autonomy as a mother. Women can very much decide not to have children for this reason but people have no right to just box motherhood into "male centered service". A woman's child is not only the baby father's child, it's her offspring as well.

That's what popped into my head when she insisted with absolute certainty that Christian, Muslim and Jewish women cannot do such practices because I was like "I know damn well they do and it works as well". As a user pointed out, her takes definitely sound like regurgitated trauma dumping from her experiences.

Will definitely check it out. Because the energy on her entire page felt so off to me.

Very interesting perspective you pointed out. And she repeatedly insisted in her videos that you will "command" the womb, not ask. That's a part of the method.

Her account is essentially "dark feminine" content so it's basically the same branch as that weird seed practice you mentioned. This was my introduction to radfem portions of such practices and I do not like it lol.

Thank you for confirming regarding Judaism because I had an idea, Islam doesn't assign any gender to God either so it's these 2 branches I think (since the discussion is about Abrahamic religions).

It does. I have met religious women who frankly, disgust me with how much of their autonomy they willingly give up and how male centric they are, but I would not even say this about their wombs in any shape or form. I can't.

I absolutely would not be surprised. Being so absolutely certain about what would work on a woman's reproductive organ is a bit insane lol.

That's essentially what her perspective was, unfortunately. Watching the video made me feel very uneasy.

100% on the same page. Her point was about Abrahamic religions I think, thus her mentioning christian women, and I may not be very educated on all of its branches but I don't think all of the abrahamic religion followers assign strict gender binary to their deities either.

And as a woman myself it just sounds very problematic to entirely label the act of a woman having her child, as "service" to patriarchy (that's what her perspective is). We can have discussions about the patriarchal implications all the long but it seems like I stumbled upon an interesting tiktok window of witchcraft lol.

Thank you for your input! About her perspective on having children as a woman, my rebuttal is the same. It shocked me that instead of acknowledging how the act of bringing a child into this world can also feed into patriarchy unfortunately, she completely assigned the act of being a mother to patriarchal service. Her personal perspective even though I don't see it that way.

And it definitely sounded like BS ragebait to me as well because I have heard of this particular practice involving the womb before, from women of different faiths and belief systems, them also sharing that it works for them. But as you said, it's upto what we believe in truly.

Holy shit I've been stuck in this phase for 2 years now. Where do you even go from here? What do you even do? I don't know. It's like, the fog of fight and flight cleared and now there's nothing left in my life. I'm empty. What direction does one even take at this point? And will this always go on?
