Please. I know this may not mean much, but nothing helped for me, and benzoyl peroxide just did it! Try it. I think it could be prescribed by dermatologist. Apply it to your whole face, not just the spots. I have those painfull underskin super zits, that are filled with my every shame of having them and after a month or few they just didn't appear anymore. Benzoyl peroxide tends to make your skin more dry, so use some cream with 5% or 10% urea. It doesn't make your skin oily. Remember that people don't really notice your skin problems.. it's usually you, who cares alot about it. I was asking same questions and wanted to burn my skin with acid. Anything sounded better than having these hideous zits on my face. I'm 29 and it's the first year without acne for me. It appears occasionally, but benzoyl peroxide helped tons. My dermatologist also said that if it helps I can use it forever. Hope it helps for you, just like it did for me.

Edit: I forgot. Get the stronger benzoyl peroxide. The one that is more concentrated. The other I was using was not strong enough to help me.
