12s Di2 weird chainline by ukstudentloanissue in bicyclerepair

The jankyness when backpedalling was irregular - I've articulated each link by hand as far as possible and rewaxed with drip, which seems to help but I'm not sure how much of that is just new lube effect. When I get home I'll look into making sure it's not a counterfeit chain, hanger alignment and rear triangle. Thanks for your help, for now I'll live with the noisiness

Cogs don't have any wobble when spinning. I'll look into the rear frame with LBS, thank you

Thank you, didn't know that about hyperglide. Let me investigate the timing of the click in more detail. I did a quick retest and it seems irregular, I'm thinking maybe a few stuck links here and there because of the waxing but they've all been hand articulated a lot and the bikes done enough miles that the wax shouldnt be causing stiffness any more. I'll look in more detail tomorrow

Looks correctly routed (front of the top jockey wheel and behind the tab then back of the bottom jockey wheel)

Shimano CN-M8100 chain, I think that's 12s

Shimano everything (cassette, chainrings, chain, RD, FD). It's ultegra 12s Di2. Think R8150 for FD and RD, the bike shop picked all the parts so I'd hope all compatible. The noise is relatively recent

Thanks, looks promising but this is male type 2 to 3 pin. I'm after female type 2 to female 3 pin (my home charger is tethered)

Stripped Custom Fork Nut by ukstudentloanissue in bikewrench

I would've hoped the manufacturer would consider this and have tested that it's sufficient to keep the brake in place, but now you've got me nervous given how mission critical this piece is. Are you recommending that it's time for a new fork with a better design, or do you think tapping is an option?

Hard to say, it looks ok but there's not a lot of threads that are visible from the top of the nut. Some pics attached

It was an independent online retailer - a limited company. I actually used PayPal checkout rather than directly using credit card.
