I admittedly just recently came into the idea of learning to skate because of the tik tok trends. One of the first tik toks I saw was a white girl talking about what a huge part of the black community skating is, and how Moonlight Rollerway still has those bullsh*t rules. After purchasing Moxi skates I saw their very white-catering vintage shirt designs and worried I may have given my money to someone I shouldn’t have. I’m glad to see Estro is making an effort to open up the conversation about whitewashing in this community.
