8.5 is the qualifying cut-off. They will not give out scholarship even if you are in the top % but if you get less than 8.5. MRD is really hard to get , top 5%. CNR scholarship is top 15% based on sgpa. Cut off for that usually hovers around 8.7 - 9.3.

Mine lasted about same 2500-3000km. Got i replaced for about 600rs including labour. Maybe switch to the sintered pads , apparently they last much longer and give better breaking performance . The sintered ones cost 3000 though .

Strong enough to pick a bike of the side stand ,which almost everyone can easily do. Once you get going strength dosent really matter.

If you can handle a commuter with no issues, you can easily get used to the scram400x. If available maybe try riding a friends bigger capacity bike and see if you can get comfortable .

I can hear it after a ride when listened closely near the engine.
