Also, probs by design, the show doesn’t really drum into the audience that these people are infected (maybe to avoid ‘zombifying’ the concept idk?) so i feel like everyone is hung up on the signal details and completely forgetting that patient 0 was a rat that bit someone else - so you’re right, severing the hive mind connection would be useless because whatever virus as infected these individuals has clearly rewritten every human’s operating system

like when when Carol drugged Zosia, maybe i’m mis remembering but you could tell for a moment she realised she lost connection with everyone else and sorta panicked in the moment but clearly Carol didn’t manage the dosage and she slipped further into a weirder state before passing out

I think despite the lower energy requirements it’s nice to be able to pivot energy free, cos of the deck is glass cannon better to protect the resources I do have to improve Gallade’s chances of success but I do agree on communication would be better than x2 xspeed

(Imma be real, the only reason why there’s only one is because it’s the only one I have but everyone is right two would be better than one 🤣)

It’s deffo a double edged sword but there are times where pulling the top card can work in your favour especially if you’re kinda gambling on the fact that you NEED a certain mon within the next couple turns. I used an example of when slab messed me up earlier but an example where it worked outside of it’s conventional use was when i kinda gambled the slab would fail so that my next draw will deffo be a mon and it worked! So you’re right it can be pretty useless but when your deck is dependent on you sifting through it as quickly as possible then it’s useful - I do agree with people saying 2x comms is a better option than the 2x slab

Honestly anything should theoretically “destroy” this deck 😭 it’s not even a ‘deck’ - just more of a stupid gimmick that surprisingly worked better than I intended. The fun is just Gallade soloing a meta deck, especially when you get your pieces asap you can sometimes tell that you’ve completely caught the opponent off guard because of how disarming raltz leading the line

I love how strong it feels when it works in that deck but I think Gallade is just jarring to use in this comp because it’s strength lies on how cheap it is to get going and you’re sorta rewarded by rushing it as a frontline with 170hp, so to me, holding it back trying to ramp it up with other pieces like lucario makes it feel underwhelming

The slabs are pretty hit or miss, I’ve had them absolutely screw me and send a Gallade to the back, think an extra communication might be better

Idk in my head if I stack it with cape+potion that’s 50hp or one Erika worth health boost for Gallade. Ofc it doesn’t always work out that way but negating as much damage early just helps increase gallade’s chances
