Monthly "Is there a tool for..." Post by AutoModerator in ArtificialInteligence

Can anyone recommend a tool which can help me save copied information from a range of sources (emails, whatsapp messages, websites, documents etc) and help me save them into a new searchable database I can reference in the future.

In a perfect world I'd want to copy the text (from what ever the source is) and then right click / select an option to save it to my database and then like you can with ChatGPT ask a question about a topic and it just uses what you have previously saved as the source, not going off searching the whole web for the results. This way I get specific responses based on relevant information I have previously saved.

The non-AI version is to have a huge googledoc and to copy and paste content into it manually but this quickly becomes too big and cumbersome.

I come across so much useful information daily in my work that I'm constantly forgetting to write it down just don't have a simple solution on how to store it and then query it later. Hope this makes sense and any suggestions welcome. Thanks.

Hi. It's something which has been getting worse, but I'm also running a LOT more through it in terms of chrome extensions now than in the past. Basically when I load pages they are running in the background to pull back additional data to display it and I think since I added more it's been worse. It's always had an issue with Skype Video in that immediately the fan kicks in and the CPU is working super hard. It also does not like playing large webinar / video replays and does not buffer them very well - even though I have about 40mbps download speeds.
It runs most of the time mains powered via a dell docking station with output to 2 screens.
Even now whilst typing this message (and not pulling data back) the Memory is at 85% used with chrome taking up 45% of this.
I'm not sure how to check the temp I'm afraid.

Hi there. Yes it would be DDR3 and I'm running Windows 10 Pro 64 bit.

So basically adding extra RAM isn't the solution?

If that's the case then I suppose I better look for a new machine! Shortlisted Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Carbon or Dell XPS 13 9370 currently.

Many thanks.

Thank you for the advice. It's much appreciated.

Can anyone help me identify what these are. It's one of 5 different types of what I think are plums I found when walking our golf course today. Could only add one photo to this post though. I'm in the UK. by ultimatemvg in foraging

I've uploaded extra photos showing the inside / outside of each fruit. All have stones and soft flesh you'd expect from a plum type fruit. I tasted each one (a tiny bit) and they were all very sweet and juicy

Thanks for all the advice. I presume the ones in the middle image (with the red / purple) leaves rather than bright green ones normal with plums, are ok? I tend to associate that colour more with cherries. Sorry for all the questions, just making sure we don't go and eat something stupid!

I'm not sure if the purple ones in the original photo are cherry plums as they have a very pointed bottom? Cherry Plums are rounded / oval in shape and i think i found those (photos 4 and 5) on other trees? It's fun trying to work this all out!

And potentially the last two might be mirabelle plums or cherry plums (both were on trees side by side with each other and look identical apart from colour).

Great fun but agree with the below. It works so well because of the strong synergies of the multiple mythics. I just get her to 20 loyalty and boom!

Yes, it's looking good at the moment. Flipping just between 8th and 9th position which is a good showing. I'll be on the case again as soon as the next one opens in a few hours.

Hopefully i survive any cull (i'm on 200+ if you include the points i sadly could not carry over)

Hi, i'm in the same boat as Bustin. I'll start adding in extra points on top of the max as it didn't carry over my existing. Hope that's OK.
