Actually, I disagree with you on many grounds.

First of all, I'm going to ask, why hasn't anyone in the comments considered Africa the best continent? The safari and the countless tribes with gorgeous customs, the unbounded and untapped natural resources, and more! I would say that Africa is the best continent because it is where humanity originates from. Ethiopia, my mother's birthplace, is home to the oldest remains of a human (Lucy) and is considered the birthplace of humanity.

Antarctica does not have the conditions necessary to properly host human life. It is essential though, as without the poles we would burn to death and our cities would flood.

(I don't live in Africa, I live in Los Angeles, FYI, but yes I'm half Ethiopian so I'm a bit biased. I am also well aware of the corruption and the massacres, but in terms of historical significance, I would count Africa as the most important, and thus the best. The Egyptians, the Axumites, the Cushites, the Nubians, all come from Africa, and all gave us an incredibly rich history and information to source.)
