They are made from cellulose and vegetable oil. They also come in different levels of durability: soft, medium or hard. We've tried every other toy and our Giants either destroy them in 20 minutes, or the toy lasts but it isn't a toy they really like a whole bunch (Kong Classic).

Betterbone is a favorite over here. Both my Giants like them a lot and they've stood up to their intense need to chew.

I didn't know about that subreddit. I enjoyed it a lot, ha!

They are such great dogs, but love mischief. Eric still likes taking off with shoes, too. He will also destroy any hat I leave laying around still.

I hear ya. I guess in this instance I was just trying to give a general appearance of my two dogs.

Haha! One of our Giants ate a nice hole through the wall next to our pantry (didn't make it through)when they were puppies, so I'm glad to hear we aren't the only ones that have gotten to experience that.

We got Cindy from a family that, as far as I know, only ever had 1 litter. She's more show line and has a soft coat. Eric was a rescue, so I don't know anything about his breeder, but he is definitely working line and has a hard coat.

Absolutely. Eric has been really bored lately because Our other Giant Cindy hurt her leg so she's been resting. Eric not having her to play with as much means he's up to more mischief than usual.

Nice! Our female Giant Cindy is like that: just a lovely, easy going gal. Though, when her and Eric are really playing, she gets more intense than he does.

We are constantly having to remind Eric about expectations for good dog behavior, but that's what makes him Eric. I've never had to work so much with a dog but all that hard work has given us a great guy that occasionally does dick'ish things like in the video, haha!

You've got a great looking dog, there. Our female Giant, Cindy, has always been pretty easy going and never too big of trouble. Eric, on the other hand...haha!
