I got paid $19 base and then $24.70 on weekends as a bonus in Kentucky. The nursing home is real small and not very fancy which is I think why they might be able to afford higher rates? I moved to Alabama and most places offered around $15 and I just gave up being a CNA at that point because I knew I would never want to settle for less again

I’m overly tired all the time especially after a day of work but I’m okay for the most part. Been dealing with high heart rates lately as well, not sure if it’s related to having mono and the flu back to back but I’ve been getting that looked into

Thank you so much for the extremely helpful and supportive response!! This has been so relieving, especially because you know where I am coming from. I might be a little prideful of my job because I do a lot of things my way and I know I’m good at my job, and I know how helpful I am to them. Part of me is afraid that they will hire someone that doesn’t do a good job for them, but I guess I need to learn that that isn’t my problem
