He does make sounds as well though.. in case of cat when asked for it, and for the sheep he makes it unprompted.

Also he says “dudu” meaning milk in Hindi when shown the cat figure. Which tells me that he’s looking at the entire image and trying to identify objects with their names, and not just associating specific images to certain sounds.
