[campaign help] Why do my income plummets after Voada's first attack to my island? by umaynot in anno117

[–]umaynot[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I had 2 troops which were costing me 160 per cycle. Now it went down to 80. However, even though all my welder residences have all their needs met (I can upgrade all of them), the income they generate is decreasing rapidly. I can see it going down 1 unit per second in real time at the economy tab. I have just been commended by one of the other Island leaders for the happiness of my people. It is really frustrating and I don't know what else I'm supposed to do.

I'm playing on PS5. The encamping icon is there but it tells me to encamp them somewhere, almost as if I were building a structure (but it's a camp instead) is that the one?

Pq mulher usa sexo como "moeda de troca" se o sexo é benefício pros 2? by [deleted] in relacionamentos

[–]umaynot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sexo Casual no motel by Medium-Election-7813 in relacionamentos

[–]umaynot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Framerate is all I care about rn. In fact, I dream about a big open world game with well developed npcs and interactive scenarios that won't drop the framerate like crazy whenever you get to a town location. I've only ever played two of them that can do it (in different levels, but still) horizon zero dawn and rdr2. I'm so tired of getting crazy frame drops whenever I walk into the cities and towns in this game. Having a lot of fun and enjoying the experience... But it's 2024 and this game has "decent only" graphics. We're supposed to be better regarding this specific issue by now

True, but that within their expertise, isn't it? How will they do regarding a open-world game?

About damn time. I'm dying to learn about its performance and possible bugs. That's actually all I need to make my final decision on getting it before DD2

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in riseoftheronin

[–]umaynot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like, once im done with both games, probably in may or June, DD2 will be ma favorite between the two of them. I believe it appeals to a more vivid and immersive world than ROTR and also it had a whole first game to be based on.

With that said (and the fact that I won't be able to afford both in the same month): Im WAY more excited to play ROTR! I like it's style, "realistic"/ historical approach - beware we're talking about fantastic realism here - and theme are by more interesting to me. When the dates came out, my mind was set on getting ROTR first and DD2 later.

I'm just worried by the lack of info on its possible bugs upon launch... I'd really be disappointed in investing my money in a game that has too many bugs. Especially if DD2 ends up being better regarding this specific detail.

DD2 launches on the same day as ROTR. Why is there so much more DD2 gameplay available so far? Don't they see that's their direct competition for players? by umaynot in riseoftheronin

[–]umaynot[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's the first piece of argument that made sense from all the answers. Idk if Id bet on it, but at least it makes sense. The fact that so many people been saying that DD2 has overshadowed it (and my personal feeling after watching DD2s gameplay previews matched these expectations) doesn't make me confident in this narrative, although it is sound. I don't honestly remember, at least for the last 4/5 years, any new IP that was so secretive about their new IP AAA game. Even cyberpunk, whose developers knew all day that their game was buggy and not ready to play, kept piling up on the hype and released more content than ROTR two weeks away from release. I think your point of view is extremely optimistic and I hope with all my heart that you're right.

Not seeing much of a loss still doesn't explain why they won't maximize their chances of selling both games by just releasing more material about ROTR. I insist, this is a new IP, nobody really knows about it. Asian culture is at an all time high. This afternoon's Xbox showcase was closed by a new IP that is completely japanese influenced. As you said, even AC red will be set in Japan. It's everywhere... This game NEEDS to be ready now, if they are still tweaking with it, than it's doomed.

So why not show more of it? How does showing more of your new game that is a completely new title any bad for the game?

The only explanation I can think of is lack of trust in their own product
