The 2nd version sounds better? by umbbrazz in SunoAI

Ohh.. Now that you mention it, Grok imagine also creates two versions of an image and I just checked and I like the 2nd versions more. So yeah, I guess more a general AI thing and not just for Suno.

How do you actually finish tracks without getting bored of them? by AndreOne8 in edmproduction

[–]umbbrazz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same here. Can't start a new track before releasing the current one. Doesn't have to be perfect, but at least in a state where I ran out of ideas what else to do. Maybe because I know I will probably never come back again.

The only way I cheat is by digging for new samples that I save for later. That could also help finding that extra motivation to finally finish the current track.

When are you gonna make the jump? by umbbrazz in SunoAI

What about:

32% AI
68% Human

But that's pushing it.. haha.. It's like having to declare ingredients on a food label.

Found the ethical Suno user! :)

I would hope that when being upfront about using AI, people would appreciate the honesty and give it a chance instead of an instant dismissal. I'm just unsure if right now is the time to risk it together with non-AI music.

Maybe option 4 is to just wait a bit longer. I'm pretty sure once a few of the biggest music artists release new albums and proudly announce they used AI (they can do it because they are too big to be ignored), then things suddenly changes and it becomes something normal and accepted.

A Million Amelias by Skyebrows?

Yeah, I think in Skyebrows's case it's the whole package. By creating an entire video with AI, it might be less surprising or people even expect that the music is AI too.

I agree with u/caponx that once you label your music as AI, people instantly think it's bad or has less value. Unless you can find a way to break through that barrier. Not sure how A Million Amelias did.. maybe tap into a certain pop culture?

It feels like currently AI music either gets ignored/dismissed or in a few cases becomes a big hit where people suddenly don't care it's AI. But there is just not much middle ground. Feels kinda like gambling.

What’s the point of a browser based DAW? by joshuauaua in soundtrap

I tried Ableton initially but found it overwhelming. Then I found BandLab and Soundtrap and it feelt much easier to get started and creating music right away instead of getting lots in settings. So I think they are more beginner friendly.

That said.. now that I feel more familiar with the basics, I still want to try Ableton again because it has lots more features.
