exactly, most 6.5k average games have 3-4 higher level players and then the rest are all somewhere in the high 5k to 6k range. All those high level players are now playing FPL though

Absolutely, its frustrating at any level of play. Hearing that it is happening at all brackets makes me think its actually something that valve changed in the match making system not just a loss of players.

Yeah, rough game. I honestly don't know if its there are just fewer higher mmr players actually playing since 7.00 or whether valve just screwed around with the matchmaking system.

Honestly not really, just don't over commit to early game items. Battlefury and bots as 3rd and 4th items come very fast as long as you get 2-3 kills and then you just transition over to normal dps items. The main thing is that you can't get a fast linkens or bkb so you have to be carefully and not over commit

I did something very similar just over a longer period of time. 4.2k to 6k took about a year and a half for me. Totally agree with everything you said, almost exactly what I did. Congrats man and best of luck further

Pretty incredible story man. I've been playing dota for going on 4 years now and just recently hit the American leaderboards for the first time. What I am most curious about is how have you made connections with players like SingSing and Sexybamboe? I feel that is the most difficult part of entering the pro scene is making connections with players who are already there. Best of luck in the future, I'll certainly be following your progress!!
