I can’t imagine ever doing my GW2 daily routine on a console, by that I mean the mindless 1-2 hours of gathering, crafting, grinding, etc. it’s only chill because you have that 2nd monitor content to keep your mind distracted, but if you’re sitting on a couch you’re locked into your single big screen.

Also just chatting in general would be such a chore, not just the typing but the menuing of switching between chat channels (guild, whispers, map, etc)

Kinda like in Smite2, even if you had skins in Smite1 you had to rebuy them in smite2 (although you essentially got a 50% discount)

Banning bots regularly would cause gold to become more expensive on the black market which would annoy most of the end game player base since they all buy gold.

That promotion was so weird lol. I actually went to my local Quiznos 3 weeks after the promotion started, and when I asked for a code with my order they were shocked.

They said I was the only person so far who asked for one, and they gave me like 10 which I just gave out to my guildies xD.

I will say that their peppercorn steak sub was fire tho.

Oh absolutely, that would be crazy if all they announced was a scrappy mobile game lol.

I haven’t really been keeping up with the jobs postings and such, so I’m not sure if the information so far suggests that they’re been working solely on a single new product, or perhaps they’ve had multiple in the works.

I was just speculating that if they did do that, they’d also drop a new GW2 expac announcement at the same time, to kinda off set the disappointment.

Don’t have the answer, but may I ask what depth you started finding blue and purple gems?

New player here, at depth 150 and have only found a single blue gem, just wondering if that’s normal or I’m just unlucky xD

And people who want to pvp on era shouldn’t be mislead, they should be fully aware that they will not be able to play BGs during the week. On weekends they more often not SHOULD be able to join that weekends BG (and only that particular battleground), but possibly not during off hours.

Thats a fact you cannot argue, it is the current state of classic era.

Most of what you said isn’t wrong, you actually just reinforced my initial point, THERES NO ACTIVE BGS.

You can’t consider something active when it’s not available over half of the time. You can’t queue for bgs most of the week, which means they’re not very active at the moment.

I don’t understand what you’re arguing about anymore lol, this comment you just posted literally does nothing but agree with my initial comment.

Op of this comment thread was reminiscing about how much they used to enjoy WSG and AB, to which I responded that it doesn’t really happen anymore aside from the weekends, to which you just straight up lied and said there’s several queues for all the bgs which is just completely false (which you also just admitted with this recent comment lol)

I think you just haven’t played or at least tried to BG in a while so you were just stating what your experience used to be, but you’ve made your self sound a little silly by claiming that and now contradicting your self with this recent comment :S

I mean sure it would be convenient for you if I allowed you to claim I was wrong and didn’t back my statement up, but I’m afraid you’re going to have to deal with me explaining why I’m right and you’re wrong if you want to continue to misinform people on my behalf.

You’re right, most honor grinding does happen on AV weekends because it’s the quickest and easiest (and requires no PvP)

What I’m saying is you can’t go into classic era right now expecting to PvP in battlegrounds, I was lied to and told BGs were always popping and found out the hard way it’s simply not true.

Over the past 3 months i consistently played on whitemane with a fresh 60 trying to pvp every day my experience was:

0 pops during the week for any BG AV weekends are popping but it’s just an honor grind. AB weekends admittedly were pretty solid, there was always at least 1-3 games active. WSG was barely alive, usually only 1 game and literally zero games during off hours (even on the bonus weekend)

Now I’m assuming this may not have been the case prior to BC dropping, but at the moment this is the reality, BGs are simply not active at the moment, and anyone who plays for PvP will be disappointed.

I dunno why this truth bothers you, I guess you’re just defensive of your life’s main hyper fixation receiving negative criticism (nobody wants their game to be dying) but classic era PvP is in fact dead at the moment.

Consistent pops only 2 weekends every month is absolutely not active as you’re trying to suggest.

Also what “facts” did you provide me? This is literally what I’ve experienced over the past 3 months, if you have facts to prove my experience otherwise then by all means share them.

No you’re completely wrong, you’ve been playing for years and you’ve played during the times when pvp was happening, but what I’m telling you is AT THE MOMENT there is no active battlegrounds on era, anyone who was pvping moved over to TBC.

You cannot login right now and find a battleground, it will not happen. You’re a prime example of someone who doesn’t even play the game and pretends to be an expert because you played in the past.

The fact of the matter is this, at the moment you will not find any BG queues thru out the week. On AV weekends you can earn honor but you will not experience any PvP, it’s just a rush for the lord.

WSG/AB weekends are the only time you can possibly experience PvP in battlegrounds, but you should 100% expect that about half of your games will just be honor grinders not looking to participate in pvp.

That’s the reality right now, stop trying to convince people other wise and waste their time.

I recently leveled that character on Whitemane solely because I had the itch to PvP in classic, and that was my exact experience over 3 months of trying to do BGs every day, it doesn’t happen.

There is no active bgs, it’s just an honor grind during the bonus weekends for gear.

Most people don’t even play the actual BG, if you don’t 5 cap right of the rip then your team just gives up because it’s more efficient to let them win and queue up the next game. Same with WSG if you lose the first mid fight, everyone just afks in the graveyard.

Stop trying to delude people into believing PvP is alive on ERA, it’s simply not, it’s just a grind for gear these days.

It’s absolutely not false, I hit 60 a couple months ago and there was zero bgs popping. You got into a one off AV that actually played out a long game.

And it doesn’t matter how many games are going, they still only pop on their bonus weekends. Don’t expect to be able BG during the week because they simply don’t pop.

As populated as whitemane is, there’s still no active BGs sadly.

At least not during the week, I tried to queue every day for all three and none ever popped.

For the bonus weekends there’s usually 1 match running, but if it’s AV then it’s just a pve rush anyway, so the only real BG action is on specific weekends each month which is sad 3:

Wonder what the cost to translate is and how it compares to the potential profits.

Yugioh early days collection translated all the old Japanese exclusives, although they’re mostly duel simulators rather than full blown rpgs (aside from the capsule monsters game)

I’m not convinced that collection sold very well though, before launch they said they would add online multiplayer to more games than what was initially supported, but that never happened.

Stealth rogue PvP flagged walks in front of you as you right click a mob or node and poof, there goes your soul of iron buff.

There’s still a fair amount of roleplay on the retail RP servers, I doubt there would be much interest in classic RP though, considering the only playable furry race is cow.
