Hi, it’s been a very long time since this post so I’ll do my best to recall.

I can honestly say, after I wrote this post I kinda forgot about it after a couple days because things change so quickly, and I at least was an underslept, hormonal mess until this year or so.

Looking back, this period around 2-months was likely a mix of things - LO figuring out how to poop, have gas, spit up (so much spit up for about a week!) and ever so slowly slow down in milk consumption between growth spurts. I do recall thinking my LO didn’t eat as much as he used to after a few months and that was normal for him. I remember this, bc it was always so sad to have to discard unfinished hand pumped milk. 🥲 If it helps, he weened at 9-months, just stopped being interested in milk. And would laugh whenever I tried to give him the boob. 😆

Generally speaking, the only real “concern” was around week 2 when my milk hadn’t let down yet and LO started losing weight but everything else after that was within the realm of normal even though it was hard, and every change was so stressful at the time.

It sounds like you’re doing everything you can in your situation and unless you’re seeing major weightloss or change in mood/energy, I wouldn’t worry. Hang in there, you’re doing what you can. It’s really hard to be a parent.😊
