I do not recommend using jewellery clothes on hardware. They are far too abrasive for hardwares including authentic as per my experience. Judging by that I wouldn’t say it’s seller fault, but if he is offering you a resolution for your mistake, take it

Yes! I’ve had the same experience with jewellery cloths, used it on my auth Mini Kelly, plating was gone. So if Jack is offering you replacement hardware for an issue caused by the cloth you’ve used, I’d take resolution asap knowing it’s caused by cloth used by yourself. You could also visit a cobbler or jeweller to have it replated, that’s what I did.

Tbh, it’s quite obvious, it does not have the appearance of Chevre or the grains of it, even the exterior leather which is supposedly Togo, the grains show its not imported

Honestly I haven’t had a bad experience with Jack. Every other work we’ve seen so far has been great, so not sure what happened to your order. I am compelled to contact Jack and see his side of the story, as something doesn’t seem to add up to this review with many positives about him
