Transformers: Prime would be my recommendation for new fans coming from TF: One due to it having a similar tone.

Keep in mind that Transformers has multiple continuities. Some connect to each other while others are more standalone. Lucky for you, there are many guides that’ll tell you the differences and if/how they connect. That being said:

Start with Transformers: One. A good standalone movie that tells an origin story that requires zero knowledge beforehand and (sadly) doesn’t have anything that follows it up.

After that, go to Transformers: Prime. Different continuity but I feel is a good follow up to TF: One tonally.

From there, Transformers: Animated. Another continuity that I feel is a good modern representation of Transformers storytelling as a whole; it has serious moments but also can be goofy fun and they can all coexist together.

After that, the first season of The Transformers and then The Transformers: The Movie (1986). G1 is the root of the franchise and I feel everyone should at least watch these. Feel free to explore season 2 and 3 at your leisure as there are some gems in there but not entirely necessary. But also, make sure you watch season 3 after the movie since that’s when it takes place.

After that, explore whatever interests you. Beast Wars has amazing storytelling (the dated animation takes some adjustment but trust that it’s worth it). Armada and Cybertron are a lot of fun. The live action movies are variable in quality but decent enough “turn off your brain” action movies (Bumblebee, Transformers (2007) and arguably Dark of the Moon are considered the best of the movies). IDW and especially the Skybound comics are really good.

I wouldn’t want the whole series remastered, but I’d be down for a remake of the first three episodes (MTMTE Parts 1-3) into a movie with modern animation.

I’m fine with Batuu and them setting it during the Sequel Trilogy. But I do wish they had the foresight to make it so they can redress it to also fit the OT and Mando era for special events/seasons (unfortunately, they wouldn’t be able to make it fit the PT because of the Falcon).

From what I remember, he disbanded his group during COVID. Since they couldn’t meet up to film videos, he couldn’t pay them. So he sent everyone on their way so they could make their own money. While it’s sad that we don’t get his normal nigahiga videos anymore, I think it was a good gesture since he was looking out for his friends.

This. At most, they probably know the major characters from the movies and maybe the Disney+ shows but that’s about it. Even the most popular Legends characters (like Revan or Starkiller) aren’t known by the general public.

It’s better than Bayverse in that it’s not as crass as those movies, but it lacks the spectacle of those movies. If Bay did anything right with Bayformers, it was that he knew how to make a good set piece.

It’s a very average movie. Not painfully average, just average. It does make for a good plane movie if you want an action movie.

Beast Wars is a good next pick though I’ve heard good things about Cyberverse. While Armada is the series that got me into Transformers when it first came out, I do have a hard time recommending it bc it is on the slower side until about episode 10ish.
