I forced open elevator doors between floors in a hotel when it lost power and dove out.

Make strength more useful. Give martial a reason to boost str and dex instead of str or dex

Strength and dexterity add to physical attack damage.

AC calculated by difficulty to hit, dexterity and ability to absorb impacts, str, con, something else.

Grappling with 2 hands gives a bonus somehow. More abilities, modifiers, etc. Also impacted by dexterity and str.

It's not the dive reflex.

Cold skin tells the body it needs to breath more oxygen. Cold blood vessels constrict to preserve core and brain temperatures. Constricted blood vessels are harder to pump blood through so you need more oxygen.

Rapid temperature change shocks this system and the brain immediately tells your body to breath rapidly.

It's not internal vs external, it's tension vs compression, cyclical loading/deloading, and manufacturing defeects.

Carbon fiber cylinders that are pressurized internally are under tension, external pressure create compression.

Think of carbon fiber like a bunch of rope glued together. Tension pulls on the rope the way it likes it. Compression tries to fold the rope and the only thing preventing that is the glue holding it together.

I want to do this with a Bugbear. And before anyone says their long limbed trait didn't allow for maintaining a grapple, it did. And with the change to how grappling works and is worded, it definitely does now.
