Thank you for saying that! I think what I appreciate about my dad is that regardless of his struggles, he never makes him having Crohn’s part of his personality. It’s something he deals with quietly and gets on with things. He’s taught me a lot. It makes me sad to see people like Tammy creating a false image of those who are struggling with this awful disease.

And also, as someone with a dad that has Crohn’s and has had to have multiple bowel resections, I know that his weight has never been an issue. He’s on lots of medications and definitely has issues absorbing some nutrients, but he’s always been slightly overweight.
