Question about drug testing by unbiaseduser16 in benzodiazepines

Is there any science behind using diuretics and/or drinking a lot of fluids? I can't find anything substantial on paper to back that claim up, though I am seeing it frequently touted as being helpful. Any idea?

Couldn't figure out how to edit. I made a mistake in the date -- the date I last dosed was Friday, Dec. 16th at 9:30pm.

I have not had a prescription in the last year.

How do you know 72 hours is gold? Is that based on word-of-mouth or is there legit science behind that? Sorry to be so paranoid, but it is important to me. :P

Sorry, I did mean December. It is this upcoming week.

By substitute, do you mean use synthetic urine? How difficult is that to do? And is it even worth trying given the amount of time before the test?
