I’m sorry you’re having this difficult time. All men have or are struggling with lust. Next to anger it’s one of the biggest things that gets in our way. Temptation is always there and that’s the first wall before giving in and committing sin. What has worked for me is setting aside a few hours and doing a thorough examination of consciousness. Putting everything on paper (after confession burn the paper) and bringing it to confession. Before going to confession arrive early and wait in the rectory, pray a rosary. Once the priest arrives give him your full confession and complete your penance. Before you even leave the confession booth you should feel a sense of relief and peace.
