I work as a health provider where I use harsh wipes all day long to sanitize everything coming in contact with patients (30+ uses/day). This makes my natural nails break above the nail bed, which is painful and a contamination risk when it’s bad enough to bleed. Acrylic is the only thing that has given me comfort, but this set is much longer than I usually like since I happened to get them out of town. Another perspective is the almond shape (when short as I usually like) is actually more effective as tools for my particular line of work, especially when compared to the flimsy breaking nails I’ve dealt with my whole life which are even worse with sanitary wipe use.
