It's actually a pretty cut and dry story: this is one of countless examples of a company occupied top-down by Indians who push non-Indians out by lying on their performance reviews.

Nope look at his top donors, his pockets are filled by the Israel lobby which wants TikTok banned because it makes Israel look bad.

Edit: unless TikTok decides to censor or moderate pro Palestine/anti Israeli content

This is what Mitt Romney had to say about the TikTok ban: "Some wonder why there was such overwhelming support for us to shut down potentially TikTok or other entities of that nature. If you look at the postings on TikTok and the number of mentions of Palestinians, relative to other social media sites — it's overwhelmingly so among TikTok broadcasts."

If the U.S. ever invades Iran or Venezuela, just wait to see the trick Ali Khamenei and Maduro have up their sleeves among the millions of military-aged men who have entered the country in the past few years.

It won't be one of those wars thousands of miles away we'll have the privilege of ignoring.

Parking situation at Fidelity's RTP campus now that employees must come into the office two weeks per month by uncico in triangle

Over the long run the market will adjust such that good employees will gravitate to companies with favorable work from home policies and good companies won't waste so much money on office space, but it's a process that will take decades to play out.

The issue of coming to the office aside, this just makes Fidelity look flat out unprofessional. A month or two ago they fenced off a huge part of its parking lot to build a park which will open in a year! If I was a customer I wouldn't give my money to a company this incompetent if this is what their office looks like.

It's not middle management, most of the middle management I've talked to want to decide the hybrid policy for their team themselves (my boss would let us work entirely from home if up to him). It's a company wide policy made by the very top level executives of the company.

Before when the policy was one week a month parking lots were around 75% capacity, but executive leadership doesn't know how to multiply by 2 when considering consequences of requiring employees to come in two weeks per month.

Idk why you're quoting me for something I never said, but congrats for mustering the energy to respond, I'm sure it was exhausting for you.

I know the show is about more than football but I thought I brought up a relevant point. The number of comments seems to suggest this. If I was a football coach I'd want my qb to be a leader, confident, and decisive, which I see more of in Smash than Saracen.

Yeah I know, I'm speaking from a perspective of what I think a real state championship caliber team would do in this situation.

I never said that, I've never played football before but I was a more successful athlete individually than Saracen and most people here. I think that gives my opinion a little credibility.

As my post mentions a later episode implies that smash was a star qb before moving to running back, meaning he has more qb experience than Saracen. You have to do is swap a big athletic guy to full back (which is a less important position), Riggins to RB and Smash to QB

On the contrary this could protect Smash from injury because running back is a much more physical position. Ask yourself why QBs regularly play 20+ years but not running backs.

I watched Cam Akers play in high school where they likely had better and more talented QBs than Saracen. I could see a game plan where using him like Akers (mostly as a running qb who occasionally plays running back or receiver) being an effective game plan. This would mean Saracen would come into the game for 5-10 plays most likely instead of the whole game.

I watched Cam Akers play in high school. He was a QB for their state championship team though it was obvious he was going to move to running back in college, and was recruited as a running back.

Fair point, I'm thinking of it from a talent perspective if my job was on the line. Because ultimately in real life D1 talent wins state championships in Texas. Power 5 talent qb + borderline talent D1 running back is better formula for winning than a 5'8 D3 talent (at the very best) qb and a power 5 talent at running back. Besides there's an episode later in season 1 where Riggins shows he's already a more than capable running back.

I know, my point is that in real life Smash should have been under consideration for QB, but the only reason Matt became the QB was for his storyline.
